Description
Price listed is per day (10 hr day).
Assists the A1, or audio engineer, with the technical aspects of audio equipment for live event productions. Ensures the upkeep, acquisition, and use of microphones, backstage monitors, communication systems, and the audio system. The A2 is also responsible for:
- Running microphones
- Managing RF frequencies
- Configuring back-of-house and the green room audio setups
- Secondary sound board operator (only if needed)
- Taking the lead on running audio cables and assembling speaker/line arrays
- Managing critical run-of-show duties like microphone placement, rotation, and client/talent communications
Technicians work either 5 hour & 10 hour minimums. OT after 10 hrs. DT after 14. For 5 hour calls that go over, DT after 5 hrs, Full Day Rate after 6 hrs.
